In 2019 Preserve Calavera took over water quality testing of the three north coastal watersheds (Batiquitos, Agua Hedionda, Buena Vista) after San Diego Coastkeeper lost their funding. See the dedicated page for this program here.

California Naturalist Certification Class
We will be continuing our California Naturalist certification training in 2026 lead by two alumni, Jimmy Kidd and Lisa Kuleto. The class is scheduled for Tuesday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm from March 3 through May 5. Check in here for more information. Registration will open in December, 2025.
