Since this video was made, Preserve Calavera helped protect Village H through a conservation easement so that now residents can enjoy a more natural landscape to walk in their neighborhood. In addition, the state Carlsbad Highland Ecological Reserve was permanently preserved from fragmentation when the Cannon Road extension was removed from consideration.
